AHEM, your local teacher’s union, offers re-licensure classes for professional development. These are offered as 2-hour online/synchronous classes that start at 4:30 PM via Google Meet. **NEW for Trimester 2--a couple presenters agreed to begin at 5:00 PM to accommodate those who can't make it right at 4:30! Pay close attention to what time your session starts! Hopefully this helps a few of you!** These classes are available FREE to AHEM members. Before registering, log into LMS to check which classes you might need for renewing your license. Each class will be offered at least once a trimester during each school year THANK YOU for your patience and flexibility as we navigated contract negotiations and a potential strike. With all that additional work, PD planning and preparations was put on hold. While we know the end of the Trimester is coming soon, conferences might interfere with a few classes, and the timing is never right for those who work later or have longer commutes, we fit as many sessions in as possible. REMEMBER: Every session will be presented at least ONCE each Trimester, so if this Tri doesn't work for your schedule, stay tuned for Trimester 3!
