General Job Descriptions for Field Representatives
1. Assist in the development and implementation of programs and activities related to Education Minnesota and Anoka Hennepin Education Minnesota's Strategic Objectives.
2. Assist in managing organizational and individual problems, concerns, collective bargaining, grievances, and resolving other legal issues. This includes representing members in processing grievances, when necessary, and in administrative hearings such as grievance arbitration and layoff.
3. Assist in developing and implementing instructional advocacy programs including such elements as site-based decision making, staff development, contract needs and professional development.
4. Meet regularly with the local executive board, faculty representatives, and leadership cadre to assist in the development and implementation of unit programs and activities.
