Check your District Email for sign-up links.  Contact the AHEM Office if you did not receive the sign-up links.

AHEM, your local teacher’s union, offers re-licensure classes for professional development.  These are offered as 2-hour online/synchronous classes that start at 4:30 via Zoom. Log into LMS to check which classes you might need for renewing your license. These classes are available free to AHEM members.  

Trimester 3 classes are ready for registration. These classes will be offered again during 3rd trimester.

All classes will OPEN for registration at 7am on Monday, March 3, 2025

• Evidence of Growth in Best Teaching Practices for Meeting the Needs of English Learners: April 1, 2025
• Suicide Prevention (1-hour class): March 25, 2025 and April 8, 2025
• Key Warning Signs for Early Onset Mental Illness:  March 27, 2025 and April 10, 2025
• Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies (PBIS):  April 23, 2025
• Reading Preparations-Scientifically Based: April 22, 2025
• Accommodations, Modifications, and Adaptations of Curriculum, Materials, and Instruction: April 15, 2025
  
  

All classes will CLOSE for registration one week before class, or when attendance reaches 100 members. 

FYI - Keep track of your continuing education hours and classes for re-licensure.  LMS does this AND it's important to maintain your own records and documents for your license.
