- Talk to local legislators about Anoka Hennepin issues
- Screen candidates in legislative races for endorsement purposes

- Neg. chairperson is co-chair of the Negotiations SteeringCouncil along with the AHEM Vice-President
- Negotiations team member and attends the teacher rights meetings
- Negotiations Cadre will serve as a conduit with district media role
- Coordinate representation on the district insurance advisory team
